Weekly Photo Challenge: Wonder

Normally I’d post only pictures in the same series… this time I’d like to share 2 interpretations. There were taken during a recent vacation.

This was taken at the beach, some time after 12 midnight, 60sec. exposure.  The red haze at the bottom comes from the last few embers of a dying bonfire.  It’s been a long time since I’ve seen this much stars again (living in the city has that disadvantage).  But I’ve always wondered, who or what else is out there?

This other one was taken during a lightning storm. Had to wait and time it just right. 15sec. exposure.  I’ve often wondered as a child (and sometimes even now when I see something like this), are the greek gods real after all?

I guess the red light is very important in the first two pictures… It’s the link between us and the univers!
    Great interpretation!

Thank you for visiting and commenting! :-) I was fortunate enough to be on a beach with a bonfire and so took the opportunity hoping it’ll come out this way. This would have been a good entry to the opportunity challenge too :-)
